Located in Portsea on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, this thoughtfully designed beach house is a celebration of the simplicity, clarity and natural beauty that emerges when form and function come together.
The client’s brief was to design a simple, elegant and practical family beach house with a focus on creating private zones and open communal areas. Following the same minimalist approach that was applied throughout the house, a functional lighting plan was designed for this project.
Mistouri Architects selected a simple palette of lighting fixtures comprising recessed and surface mounted downlights, strip lights, step lights and wall lights to create a dramatic and welcoming ambience.
